And thousands and thousands of years ago, Vedas mentioned a Mahavakya( great quote) —
Yatha dristi tatha sristi — As is the Vision , so is the appearance of the world.
And the lines below from the book The Undoing Project: A Friendship that Changed the World by Michael Lewis explains and conveys the same meaning as Mahavakya from Vedas.
